(ENG) Health equity depends on the resources made available to you, such as the length of rope one has to play in the game of life.

Childhood is the cradle of health equity and jump rope one of the most ancient childhood games; there is no equity when the jump rope is too short to play.

The poorest children in the USA live in New Mexico; girls are at greatest risk in this impoverished state.

This work represents two situations: one in which a girl cannot play and where the instrument of play is a barrier, the other in which a girl’s playing is supported by a rope interconnected with others and the resources of a community that protects and nourishes her growth and development.
