Guitarist Giampaolo Bandini, recognized as best Italian guitarrist by the magazine GuitArt in 2003, is among the best guitarists in the world.

In this conversation hosted by Cristina Baccin, Giampaolo Bandini shares his passion not only for Piazzolla, but also to la “Guardia Vieja”´s Tangos and especially, to an open door to new compositions commissioned from Italian and Latin American composers that brings a contemporary atmosphere in tango.

Their concert takes place on Saturday June 16th, at 7:30pm, as part of New Mexico Classical Guitar Festival, at the University of New Mexico´s Keller Hall, in Albuquerque (New Mexico, USA).
