In this painting, I portrait an abstract bandoneon, an instrument that I consider the soul of tango music. The painting captures the force of a bandoneon by featuring a bloody red color hanging from a simple blue sky.

“Movimiento de Tango 2” became the icon and logo of “Corazón Tanguero”, a tango music program broadcast by the radio station KUNM every other Saturday, hosted by Cristina Baccin (2010-2021).

This work  was exhibited at the 18th Annual Hispanic Culture Festival, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (Albuquerque, New Mexico, October 9-10, 2010) along with other of my paintings (Stand #12), along with other New Mexican artists, organized by “De Colores, Inc”
